Step-by-Step Guides

Detailed instructions for photographers and clients to make the most of Pixelect

1. Create Your Account

Sign up for Pixelect and choose your subscription plan:

  1. Visit pixelect.in and click "Sign Up"
  2. Enter your name, studio name, email, and mobile number
  3. Create a secure password
  4. Verify your email via OTP
  5. Choose your subscription plan

2. Create a New Project

Once logged in, create your first photo selection project:

  1. Click "Create New Project" from your dashboard
  2. Enter project details (client name, event date, etc.)
  3. Set selection limits (how many photos clients can select)
  4. Configure watermark settings (optional)

3. Upload Photos

Upload your photos to the project:

  1. Click "Upload Photos" in your project
  2. Select multiple photos (supports RAW formats)
  3. Wait for upload and processing to complete
  4. Organize photos into albums (optional)

4. Share with Clients

Generate and share the selection link:

  1. Click "Generate Link" in your project
  2. Set password protection (optional)
  3. Copy the unique link
  4. Share via WhatsApp, Email, or SMS
  5. Link remains active for 60 days

5. Download Selected Photos

Once clients complete their selection:

  1. View selected photos in your dashboard
  2. Export selections as a list or download as ZIP
  3. Process and deliver final edited photos

1. Access Your Gallery

Your photographer will send you a unique link:

  1. Click the link received via WhatsApp/Email/SMS
  2. Enter password if required
  3. Gallery opens in your web browser (no app needed)

2. Browse Photos

Navigate through your event photos:

  1. Scroll through photos or use arrow keys
  2. Click on any photo to view full size
  3. Use zoom controls for detailed viewing
  4. Browse by albums if organized

3. Select Your Favorites

Mark photos you want to keep:

  1. Click the heart icon or checkbox on photos you like
  2. Selected photos are highlighted
  3. View your selection count at the top
  4. Unselect by clicking the icon again

4. Submit Your Selection

Finalize and submit your choices:

  1. Review your selected photos
  2. Ensure you're within the selection limit
  3. Click "Submit Selection" button
  4. Confirm your submission
  5. Your photographer will receive the list instantly

Tips for Best Experience

  • Use a larger screen (tablet/laptop) for better viewing
  • Take your time - links are active for 60 days
  • Involve family members in the selection process
  • Contact your photographer if you need help
